Do you think our heart "wants" to be perfect but there are many negative forces that want to steal our attention? A perfect heart. An admirable asset.
hi there, please let me say sorry first that it took me so long to answer your question.
Yes, I believe that naturally our hearts wants to be perfect.
But we are also naturally weak and easy to fall on sins and mistakes.
I don't know what you believe and if ever in which level of spiritual understanding you are, but if you are a Christian, you will understand that on the process of of our spiritual growth, those forces who wants to steal our attention are works of the unseen enemy, the devil.
But through faith and following God's will, we will know that the power of God is undefeated and the devil was already won by Jesus Christ. We only have focus in Jesus.
